ANW02 is designed and developed by Acoustun, the parent company. TWS has become a very close item in our daily life.
Especially in streaming services and digital sales of sound sources, high-resolution lossless distribution is becoming common, and not only basic performance but also sound quality is required more than ever.
Among them, the sound of ANW02 targets “the sound intended by the artist in the studio” by reproducing high resolution quality and high sound quality codec.
We designed and developed the vibration plate using the same method as the dynamic driver used in wired earphones that specialize in sound quality, and optimized it using DSP, an approach that is not possible with wired earphones, to achieve the targeted sound quality.
In terms of functionality, it supports multipoint, multi-pairing, auto-pairing, LE Audio, and in addition to the conventional high-quality codec AAC/aptX, it supports aptX Adaptive (24bit/96kHz), aptX Lossless (16bit/44.1kHz) codec and Snapdragon Sound, and is equipped with two MEMS-type microphones on one side, IP56 dustproof and splashproof performance, and an external sound capture function.
Newly developed “El-CoClear diaphragm” & original digital signal processing “SALT”

Unlike wired earphones, TWS requires a design that assumes use in a wider variety of environments. At the same time, there are many elements that are required, such as mounting a control board and battery, and reducing the size and weight while considering the mounting of other parts.
As ANIMA proceeded with the acoustic design, it was decided that it would be difficult to reach the target standard with the conventional TWS driver, so we designed and developed a dedicated driver for ANW01.
ANW02 focuses on “specializing in sound quality” and adopts a newly developed dynamic driver unit “El-CoClear diaphragm” with the same design requirements as the drivers used in high-end wired earphones.
The El-CoClear diaphragm is a Φ10mm diaphragm newly developed based on the knowledge cultivated through the development of Acoustune’s original technology “Mylinx driver”.

In addition, by customizing the DSP inside the SoC, we aim to raise the potential of the dynamic driver and make the most of the driver’s characteristics, adopting a flash memory that is much larger and faster than conventional products, and developing our own digital signal processing “SALT” optimized through steady trial and error such as measurement and listening.
This makes it possible to improve the degree of freedom in frequency response tuning and optimize it at a higher level.
Supports next-generation Bluetooth audio standard “LE Audio” and multi-point connection

ANW02 supports the next-generation Bluetooth audio standard “LE Audio”.
Terminals that support LE Audio can connect multiple ANW02 units to one mobile terminal using the audio sharing function. This allows multiple people, such as friends, lovers, and family members, to experience the content at the same time.
When connecting to LE Audio, the LC3 codec (Low Complexity Communications Codec), which combines high quality communication with low power consumption, is used.
Compared to the SBC codec, the bit rate is up to 50% lower and the sound quality is improved, enabling low-delay communication with a long battery.
It also supports multi-point connection and multi-pairing of the conventional Bluetooth (Classic Audio) function, and ANW02 can be paired with up to two terminals with multi-point connection.
Even if there is a call to your mobile phone while watching a video on your PC, you can seamlessly answer and call with the earphones on.
Adoption of design with Acoustune DNA & IP56 dustproof and splashproof performance

ANW02 adopts Acoustune’s design identity and optimizes the fitting with consideration of ergonomics for the layout of the dynamic driver, battery, board, etc.
Based on the know-how cultivated with the custom shell of ST1000/2000, it achieves a high level of comfort and sound insulation even when used for a long time.
The earphone itself has passed the IP56 dustproof and splashproof performance test, preventing dust, rain, and sweat from entering.
By equipping the ANW02 with a large-capacity battery, continuous playback time of about 14 hours is possible with the earphone alone, and continuous playback of up to about 42 hours is possible with the use of the charging case.
The “power management function” that was popular with the ANW01 has also been inherited to reduce power consumption according to usage conditions.
Since the charging case supports contactless charging, wireless charging is also possible.
The large-capacity battery, power management function, and non-contact charging allow you to enjoy the ANW02 in a wide variety of fields.

Sound tuning supervised by “TAKU INOUE”
The final sound tuning of ANW02 was supervised by “TAKU INOUE”, who is active as a sound producer, composer and DJ.
In addition to the basic sound “LATE NIGHT”, which TAKU INOUE has tuned himself, it is possible to set three types of tuning patterns, “TWILIGHT” and “DAWN”, with the dedicated app “ANIMA Studio (* iOS / Android)”.
