GEL-LYTE III OG inherits its original shape and structure that graced the early 1990s.
Designed by Shigeyuki Mitsui in 1990, the GEL-LYTE III uses a split tongue that divides the tongue into two parts vertically. It fits so that it wraps around the instep, so it feels good to put your foot in, and it is designed so that the tongue does not slip even when you are wearing it. In addition, the signature GEL technology is incorporated into the heel to improve shock cushioning and maintain a comfortable fit.
This model is a special specification inspired by “Kadomatsu”, which is a New Year’s decoration that can be erected in front of the gate of the house on New Year’s Day.
